Marriott Grand Hotel Resort & Spa

I am planning a trip in early May with my
20 year old daughter. We are mainly interested in relaxing and going to a spa.
Has anyone been to the Grand Hotel
Marriott Resort Golf & Spa in Clear Point,
Alabama?

Chris,
I've never stayed there, but I've stayed at several other Marriot resorts and have yet to be disappointed.

This is one of my favorite places to relax. I haven't been; however, since the last renovation; but it looks wonderful. The gardens should be beautiful in May. The golf course is very nice. Be sure to visit Fairhope for a day of shopping, and Wolf Bay Lodge if you want fried seafood (be forewarned-it looks horrible from the outside!). This is a very laid-back place with attentive service. Try to avoid booking a reservation during a major convention. Hope you have a great time!

This is a priceline hotel and apparently they have been discounting down to $45 mid-week.

Might be worth a look.

I stayed there a few weeks ago via Priceline. The room was fairly tired and in desperate need of a rehab. The entire resort is pretty nice, however, so it didn't really bother me. If you can get it for under $100, it's a good deal.
