Marco Island

Hello - Any recs for activities to do on Marco Island or good day trips.....like the Everglades or Naples? I'm guessing we can do either in one day.
Also, restaurant recommendations for dinner, please! Thanks so much!

The Audubon Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary is an hour north. It has a "famous boardwalk—a 2.25-mile adventure through an enchanting wilderness and the largest old-growth bald cypress forest in North America." Reserve tickets in advance ($17 for adults). https://corkscrew.audubon.org/

There's all kinds of activities available on or very near to Marco island like Swamp Hikes, Airboat rides, shelling and beach tours, day sails, sunset sails, Dolphin & Manatee tours, Jet Ski Eco tours, Kayaking tours, Craig-cat (small personal watercraft) tours, birding excursions, both off-shore and inshore chapter fishing trips, segway and moped tours and lots more. Excursions and tours range from short 1 to 2 hours in length to half-day to full day trips. There are literally more than a dozen very reputable operators for each of the above activities so it seems a bit unfair to single out just one or two. A simple google search for "Things to do on Marco Island' will bring up scores of links to tour operators, blogs and travel guides with tons of information, details and pricing.

As for restaurants, it would help if you gave us some idea as to what type of cuisine you like and whether you are looking for high-end or casual dining. Check out CJ's on the Bay, Deep Lagoon, Marco Prime Steaks, The Oyster Society or Paradise Sea Food,
