Making a trip from Texas

Going to be visiting from hot, hot Texas and hitting Seattle, Columbia Gorge, Mt. Rainier, Portland ---I cannot determine what to pack ? Shorts, Capris, Jeans, slacks, jacket, coat or what?

Summer attire should be fine. Bring a light sweater or cover-up just in case.
