MACKINAC ISLAND
GOING TO MACKINAC ISLAND AND MACKINAW CITY, MICHIGAN IN SEPTEMBER. ANYONE HAVE SUGGESTIONS FOR DAY TRIPS WHILE WE ARE THERE, AND WE ARE STAYING AT THE HAMILTON INN. ANYONE HAVE ANY COMMENTS ABOUT YOUR STAY THERE. THANKS FOR ANY SUGGESTIONS

Head into the UP.
Whitefish Point has an interesting museum about the Edmund Fitzgerald. Near there are Tahquemonen[sp]Falls.
Sault Ste Marie has the locks.
There are many lighthouses in that area and you can spend the day going from one to another.
