Lunt-Fontanne Theater to Brooklyn (Peter Luger's)
I'm going to see Beauty and the Beast at the Lunt-Fontanne Theater this December (Sat 28th).
I am hoping to get a reservation for Peter Luger's that night (post-theater). As far as I know the show begins at 8pm and lasts for 2 hours 30 mins (with a 15 minute intermission).
How long would it take to get to Peter Luger's from the theater (by taxi)?
Does anyone know the latest table you can reserve?
Thanks.

I'd count on at least 30 minutes for finding a free cab after theaters let out and getting there. Depending on traffic downtown, it could take long.
Don't know how late of a table yuo can reserve, but I wouldn't make one earlier than 11:30. If that's not too late for you, go for it.

As much as I love Peter Luger's, I'll go along with Frank's recommendation. While nothing can match the Peter Luger experience, Sparks is certainly right up there!
It's difficult, if not impossible, to get a cab with shows let out. And, if you are fortunate enough to get one, you've still got that trek to Brooklyn. You're lucky if you get your steak by 12:30 a.m.

I don't understand why people can't do their own basic research. If you 1st checked the hours of the restaurant, you will find the following:
Restaurant Information
Hours
Mon-Thu 11:30am-9:45pm; Fri-Sat 11:30am-10:45pm; Sun 1pm-9:45pm
So your question is moot; you will never make it there in time before it closes.

Man in a few threads... all this hostility about doing research. Isn't asking a question on a travel board in fact one way of doing research?
I just don't see the reason for the hostile comments. If you don't have the answer, and don't want to do the research for the person asking, no one is forcing you to. I'm sure someone else will have the answers.

Anthony,
What is your frigging problem, this is a message board where people ask questions and normal people answer them. What part of message board don't you understand. If you don't want to answer the question then don't. There was no cause for your rude response. If people asking questions bothers you then why were on this board in the first place. jeeez, pull the stick out of your butt and lighten up.
