I have to attend a wedding next month in Luckenbach. Which would be closest airport to fly into? How far of a drive from airport to Luckenbach?

Surely not Luckenbach, Texas. There isn't much there. The closest major airports are Austin and San Antonio, each about 1-1 1/2 hour drive.

You should fly into Austin. Luckenbach is only about an hour and a half from Austin (a little further from airport). Remember, everybody's somebody in Luckenbach!

I forgot to add that the wildflowers, including bluebonnets, should be beautiful around there then. They're just starting to bloom right now. Should be a nice time for a wedding. If you're looking for a place to stay, there's a lot of B and Bs in Fredericksburg. I've stayed at a couple that I can recommend
