Gretchen

I wish my detached house was in Manhattan, unfortunately it isn't and as a result isn't worth £50m.

It's in SW Scotland and is worth 8 sheep and 3 highland cattle.

It is still free to non nutty Fodor type people. Which leaves about 6 or 7 possibles.

Not sure what Janis and Dickie are replying to me about, but what I was referring to was Dickie's reference
"Just unsure about the weather further north.: If he was talking about the weather north of Edisto--where I thought the link was. And thinking of going somewhere other than the SC coast.
I am so confused!! LOL

Sorry Gretchen

When you said free, thought you were referring to my comment about my house in Scotland being free when we visit SC. JanisJ has visited our village and most of Scotland, she was after a house sitting job.

You all know each other too well--or just right!! LOL

BUT there is no doubt that October in the US is a beautiful month just about everywhere.
And I'll volunteer for the house sitting job too.

When I read the title, I thought that someone had found a low-cost flight from Atlanta to somewhere. That would truly be a first.

Hey!

Delta finally gave up and offered Man:ATL:CHS turn with very good times and connections for £525 each. They have fluctuated from £867 to this new low, all in a week.

Just booked the flights in a flash.

Also booked the house.

Thanks for the assistance.

Wow! It'd be double that to go from ATL, I suspect.

I don't know what the hell my parents were doing giving birth to me in Scotland.

I should have been born on a dock with a fishing rod, copy of Southern Living and a crate of Corona. That's where I'll die........If US immigration will have me.

Really pleased to have got Delta, always been happy with them.

Dickie, you should check out Garden & Gun as well. It's like Southern Living, but with more alcohol, more music and fewer casseroles. Congratulations on the great deal!

Great recommendation! G&G is fabulous.

Which reminded me to vote in the bracket.

Woo-hoo! Savannah is beating Charleston right now!

starrs, I'm mainly surprised that Florence/Franklin is so close!

I feel more genteel every time I open my new G&G.

I read some comments trying to rally the AL folks to keep an AL city in the running. I really expect Franklin will win. I predict Asheville will take all ;-)

Hey jent, have you looked today?
Franklin won.
And it looks like Savannah is going to beat out Asheville.
Savannah already beat out Charleston.
