Looking for somewhere to stop for lunch in Grand Junction
Will be driving from Denver to Moab on 12th sept. looking for somewhere to have lunch. Husband loves watching diners & driving, I'm more of a garden salad gal. Anywhere serving Amercian food that you can recommend please. thank you from Wales.

Forgot to mention, if you have a sweet tooth, don't bypass Enstroms - home of the best toffee I've ever had (we just brought some back from Denver to Australia, good stuff).

dotty, we enjoyed lunch at Nepalese restaurant right in the centre of Grand Junction in April.
It has indoor and outdoor seating and a great buffet for about $8 a head (with mild veg and chicken curries plus bread and salads).
If that doesn't appeal we also liked Pablo's pizza across the street. Great salads.
