Looking for opinions on Hotels? Landmark, Patricia Grand, Compass Cove.
Deciding on a place to stay in June. Will be traveling with two teen girls and would like them to be on their own and walk to the Pavillion and other entertainment spots on their own. Also would like any opinions on the accomodations I have chosen so far, or if you have any other suggestions.

Suprised to hear that the Patricia Grand has turned into a dump. We stayed there in February of 1997 and it was very nice. We have also stayed at Forest Dunes, the rooms were great. Pool was closed for renovation when we were there (1997). Forest Dunes is North of the Pavillion, too far for the girls to walk but it is a nice place to stay.

patricia grand is in Myrtle Beach. It's a shame it was such a dump because it is in a good location on the beach. The room was filthy, the furniture was falling apart. The lock was broke on the door. The bed even had long hair on the pillowcase. It was very dirty. Even the person at the desk said they wouldn't stay there.
