Long Weekend in Seattle

Here's an interesting (and quite busy!) article from The Wall Street Journal on things to do in Seattle over a long weekend. Some new ideas..to me at least!

Thanks for posting the link. We leave for Seattle (and afterward the Oregon coast) this coming Thursday. So happy I picked the "correct" hotel!!!!

Yes, there is so much to do and see in Seattle. I was surprised though that the article left off the Space Needle. I know, they recommend the seaplanes, which are fantastic, but I also think if you only ever get to Seattle once, you need to go up to the Space Needle. Right next to it is the Chihuly Garden and Exhibit which is beyond stunning!

I think you'd have more fun if you did about half the amount of stuff suggested.

There are some creative ideas and I like most of the restaurant suggestions. Just seems more like a week or two vacation schedule, instead of hitting the ground like it's The Amazing Race for four days!

I still like to brag that I was in one of the first 4 elevator loads up the Space Needle in 1962!!
