Long Term Parking - Philly Airport

Does anyone have a favorite parking lot for long term (2 weeks) parking at the Philadelphia Airport.

I don't want to park in the official long term lot run by the airport - those always take forever.

I'm looking for the type of lot where you park and the van quickly picks you up and delivers you to the terminal.

We like Pacifico Airport Valet Service. They take you to the airport in your own car and then take your car back to their place. When you come home, they pick you up in your own car. No dragging luggage onto the vans!!!

For trips from PHL (my home airport), you get AT BEST a choice of these:

1) reasonable cost.
2) quick departure from lot and from airport.

The minimum I've been able to find for parking near PHL is $7.50 a day -- and that's for a lot at which you wait for van (I've not had a problem, but it seems quick pickup is a must for you). For a two-week trip that would mean spending $100 just for parking. If you want speedy service you will probably pay even more.

Have you considered riding a cab to PHL? Even from Center City (and including tip), the cost would for both trips would be a lot less than that.

Or perhaps you can just ride the R1 Train direct to and from the airport. Your longest possible wait to get to CC (50 minutes) would be comparable to the time needed to wait for and ride a van, exit the lot, and drive there. From CC you coud ride SEPTA or get a cab just about anywhere.

If you're coming from outside Philly, a combo of mass transit and the R1 would most likely be less than the cost (in money, time, and aggravation) of driving to a parking lot and paying to keep it there for two weeks.

Just some thoughts.

Thanks for the input.

I'm driving up from Baltimore, so I don't really favor the idea of mass transit.

I might give Pacifico a try....

If you are coming up from Baltimore you can exit 95 at the RT 420 exit and head on 420 south towards Essington. Turn left on 291. After you pass the Wawa market on the right look to your left and you will see a lot for FastTrack airport parking. I always park there. They are a valet parking lot. You park at the door, they take your luggage and you call them when you get back. Great service, cheap prices.

We like Winner Airport Parking. They valet you to the airport in your car and will pick you up in your car when you return. You can find coupons on the internet for $6.99/day and, if you want to drive straight home upon return (no going back to the lot, the valet takes a shuttle back), it's an extra $10 one-time fee.

We've used Pacifico for 20 years, and plan to continue. I can't say if Winner or others are better, but we are satisfied as is.
