Loft living in Los Angeles?

I am being transferred from Wash DC to LA and have grown fond of loft living. Only problem is that I can't find any loft projects in LA. I have my loft in escrow and would like to buy another one when I get out there. Does anyone know of any loft projects for sale or rent in Southern California? Thanks!

try Koreatown or pretty much anything mid-town. Hollywood may have some too, but they will be outrageously priced. Since you're from DC, you may not mind, but midtown will give you more for your money. Plus you're right close to some damn good korean bbq. mmmm kalbi.

Do you by any chance know of any brokers who specialize in lofts? Or the names of some projects for sale? Price isn't a huge concern since I've made a bundle on my loft back here. Is $450,000 to $500,000 a reasonable price range for a loft in LA?

I've been snooping around for lofts in LA as well...

Try www.loftsonline.com/la. It has several listings, and your price range is pretty reasonable (same as ours).

Good luck with your search!

There's one small project in downtown LA for sale, but I think it's about sold out. Not sure how many others are out there.

The link below might help. Honestly the first disclaimer on the website ways, usually they are bought up before they are listed. But it never hurts to find out.

There's a renovated project in Long Beach. I've heard that there are some planned for downtown LA, but no one seems to have much info.

There are some pretty pricy ones going up in Pasadena.
