Lodging on Oahu and Kauai

We'll be in Oahu and Kauai end of September 2006 and are having problems finding a place to stay under $100/night! Any suggestions? No pool or extras needed, just a quiet place to stay at the end of the day.

Try plugging your info into a site like travelocity.com and then sort by price. For example, in mid September, the Ohana Waikiki West is available for about $89 per night. We just stayed at the Ohana Islander Waikiki, which is just over $100/night during that same period. If we ever go back to Oahu, I think we'll stay again at the Ohana Islander Waikiki.

Besides travelocity, you can try:

www.expedia.com You can sort them by price. There are about 20 under $100 on Oahu.

www.bookit.com

www.hawaii-hotels.com

www.ohanahotels.com

Many hotels offer 5th night free. So you can try to take advantage of that.

Lots to do & more sites:

Try VRBO.com - they have a lot of places to choose from - vacation rentals by owner - alot of them a great prices. I own on Kaua'i and rent for $100/night - as do so many others and some at lower prices depending on location and size and time of year - I'm sure you will fnd something that will work for you. Hope your have a wonderful vacation on Oahu and Kaua'i.
