Lodging in Vail area

Hi everyone. Our family of 5 (3 teenagers) are going skiing for the first time this year. There are SO many lodging choices. COuld someone recommend, probably a condo, in the Vail area that won't totally break our bank. Thanks!

The Park Meadows lodge is close to the vigllage (about 2 miles from town)and very reasonable. They are in our phonebook, but I don't think that they have a website. Ther eare plenty of condos available in almost all price ranges. Try searching in a local lodgeing service.

There is a ski forum where you might get some more info. It is www.epicski.com and from there click on resorts and travel section in the forum box. The forum box is the upper left box.
good luck!

Try calling this number in Vail,800-282-4183. They should be able to help you find a condo or home that is resonable. We spend our summers there and they are very helpful. Otherwise do a search in google for vail rentals and plenty of things will turn up.

Also if you type in ski vail there is a card you can get for reduced rates and discounts at various restaurants in the Vail, Breckinridge, Keystone and Beaver Creek area.

We've used VRBO.com many times as well as Prudential Gore Range Properties in Vail for rentals. You don't need to pay the high $$$ to stay in Lionshead or Vail Village. The free bus transportation in Vail is great. Staying in one of the many condos on the north side of I-70 or in West Vail is usually cheaper. You can also check out rentals and other useful info on vailnet.com

Check out http://www.mtvacations.com
for ideas on less exspensive lodging.

I stayed at Park Meadows years ago. The units are small but worked fine for us.
