Lobsters to go!

Plan on being at Foxwoods next week. Thought I would head out to the coast (Mystic or Groton) to purchase some lobsters to send back to CA for the family. Any ideas where to go? Thanks

I have no idea, but wanted to warn you the price of lobster is so outrageosly expensive right now. Not sure why, but the grocer is selling chicks for $18 a pound.

I'd search online when the prices come down.

We were in a NH seafood restaurant 2 weeks ago and saw a sign saying there was a severe lobster shortage. I imagine the recent northeaster hasn't helped matters any.

Wow! Didn't know prices were that high. But it still maybe cheaper than staying at Foxwoods for a few extra hours LOL. Last time Fed Ex cost alone was $6 a lobster. The local store here in CA had them on special at the time $7. Still would like to find a place in Mystic or Groton if anyone knows one. Thank you

Living in New England, I rarely eat lobster, that I love, because it is so expensive. You can google and see our local Legal Sea restaurant in Ma. has a catalog as do others in Maine and it's almost $90 and up. They ar shipped live so th packaging must figure in the cost( I try to convince mysel

There is such a shortage of lobsters right now that the tanks are empty at our grocery stores (southern New Hampshire).
