Greetings all! We are in Oahu and have just gotten power back at 2:40 pm local time.

The quake hit here at 7:07 am this morning. We were asleep in bed when I felt the room shake and heard rumblings. I woke my DH and jumped out of bed to feel the floor sway as I raced to look out the balcony to see if anything was visible. The power stayed on for a few minutes and then went out till now.

We are staying at the Marriott Ko Olina which west of HNL.

Things are calm here now, saw pictures from BI and Maui. Hard to believe we were just on BI a few days ago and 6 miles away from the epicenter.

We are all good here!

Aloah Debi, I'm so glad you are OK. As you know, I've just returned from the BI and this news was mind-blowing for DH and me. Be careful and do not take any unnecessary chances.
