Little Rock Kids-friendly Hotel?

We are going to Little Rock in June for a few days with two young kids. We'd appreciate if anyone can recommend a nice hotel with a swimming pool. We are looking for a suite-type of room, so we can get away from kids from time to time. Thanks.

There is an Embassy Suites in West Little Rock (good part of town) that has a pool--the website says it's an indoor pool and they have a sundeck. They also have a cooked-to-order breakfast each morning. Here's the website: http://www.jqhhotels.com/htmlsite/hotels/ar/littlerock/

I live around here so I haven't stayed at any of the hotels but have always heard good things about this place.

In the downtown Little Rock area, there is a Peabody hotel (has a pool and the famous ducks!), the Capitol Hotel, and a Doubletree Hotel. I'm not sure if those 2 have pools or not. Hope this helps a little. Have a great trip!

The Embassy Suites should be a good choice for a family. One world of warning, though. I'm not sure how old your children are, but several years ago one young unsupervised toddler managed to crawl over a ledge and fell several stories into the atrium
If you decide to stay there, ask for a corner room - they're larger.

I'd advise against the Doubletree downtown. We stayed there during a power outage and weren't impressed at all.

The Capital Hotel is probably the finest hotel in town, but I don't consider it particularly family-friendly. I don't think the Peabody has a swimming pool.

I have stayed at the Embassy Suites and it is very nice. Another option would be the Residence Inn in North Little Rock. It has an indoor pool, morning and evening buffets, and is close to shopping, and restaurants. It is as nice as the Embassy and the employees are very friendly and helpful.
