My favorite one is the Tulip Festival up in Skagit Valley in WA. The dates for this year are April 1-30. The blooms will be very early this year though. The website is www.tulipfestival.org.
There is also a tulip festival south of Portland in Woodburn. The dates for this year are March 19-April 20.
The Portland Home & Garden Show runs through tomorrow if anyone wants to hurry up and go.

Spoleto Festival USA 2005
http://www.spoletousa.org/
May 27-June 12th.
For 17 days and nights each spring, Spoleto Festival USA fills Charleston, South Carolina’s historic theaters, churches, and outdoor spaces with over 120 performances by renowned artists as well as emerging performers in disciplines ranging from opera, theater, music theater, dance, and chamber, symphonic, choral, and jazz music, as well as the visual arts.
Spoleto Festival USA has firmly established itself as one of the worldís major arts festivals and as one of the most significant arts organizations in the Southeast, presenting 100 world premieres and 93 American premieres since its inception in 1977. Past premieres and commissions include the highly acclaimed Peter and Wendy by Lee Breuer, Creve Coeur by Tennessee Williams, The American Clock by Arthur Miller, The Mechanical Organ by the Nikolais Dance Theatre, Miracolo díAmore by Martha Clarke, Empty Places by Laurie Anderson, Hydrogen Jukebox by Philip Glass and Allen Ginsberg, Praise House by Urban Bush Women, Three Tales by Steve Reich and Beryl Korot, and the world premiere of a Spoleto commissioned work Tenebrae by Osvaldo Golijov.
One of the festival’s tenets is to provide young performers the opportunity to work with veteran directors, designers and performers. World-renowned artists who performed early in their careers at Spoleto Festival USA include Renée Fleming, Emanuel Ax, Joshua Bell, Yo-Yo Ma, the Emerson String Quartet and Jean-Yves Thibaudet.

Those coming to Philadelphia for the flower show, don't miss out on Longwood Gardens. It's in Kennett Square, PA - 30 miles west of Philly.
"Longwood Gardens was created by industrialist Pierre S. du Pont (and is sometimes referred to as the DuPont Gardens) and offers 1,050 acres (425 hectares) of gardens, woodlands, and meadows; 20 outdoor gardens; 20 indoor gardens within 4 acres (1.6 hectares) of heated greenhouses; 11,000 different types of plants; spectacular fountains"

Here's a Texas addition:
"Dallas Blooms" - March 5 - April 10. According to their website (dallasarboretum.org):
"The Dallas Arboretum, one of the finest show gardens in the Southwest, is alive with color. The Arboretum is blanketed in vibrant color as 2400 different varieties of azaleas blossom. The Arboretum features the only public display of the Huang Collection of azaleas outside of China."
And don't forget our wonderful displays of bluebonnets and other wildflowers in the Hill Country outside of Austin. Saw the first bluebonnet today -- mighty pretty!
Hope y'all can make it!

A beautiful Oak Tree lined canopy setting on the Springhill College Campus with an old plantation style house at the end of the road (where I understand they will be serving refreshments this year).
Southern living magazine is always there teaching classes/demos, as well as a host of other sponsors. It's one of the things my mother and I do together every year! Belle.
They are having it early this year 2o to easter being on their 'usual' last weekend in March.
