You must have heard of it Kal. It is the place that is overbuilt, over commercialized, and crawling with the great unwashed.

Bookmarking. After a wonderful, relaxing week on Maui in May we'll definitely be back. Maybe another island this time. Can't make plans yet due to some family issues.

Lying here overlooking Waikiki beach right now! First time here and we totally understand why people come back. We just can't get over the perfect weather. We're headed to the North Shore today to watch the surfers. We spent 2 hours on ATVs which is the most fun we've had in a long time. Christmas dinner at Hy's was terrific. So many things to do and places to go. With a good Streetwise map, we're getting around just fine.

Waking up on Maui this morning! We spent a few days on Oahu and flew here yesterday. We will spend the next five days here then head to the Big Island for five. DH has been a number of times, but this is my first trip to Hawaii and definitely not my last!

Getting ready to head out to check out some beaches. Tomorrow we drive to Hana!

I'm 41 days out from Kauai and the Big Island with my father and sister! None of us have ever been to Kauai, so we are excited to start our explorations there, and finish off on the BI which is our all time favorite. (Dad's also been to Oahu and Maui and didn't like either, I've been to Maui and enjoyed it).

We're staying in Princeville on Kauai: even though it's rainy season on the northern side, we wanted to experience the lush, green Garden Isle and have a big contrast to the volcanic, rocky dryness of the Kohala Coast on the BI.

On Kauai now but 359 until we're back.

Great weather so far. 6 mile walk along Coco Coast and a brief Bloody Mary pit stop at The Olympic Cafe.

No stalkers noticed (chuckle).

Well, we are leaving Honolulu in a few hours...but yesterday while on the Big Island, DH booked tickets to return for Thanksgiving. So I'm officially joining the countdown. Got to use our systemwide upgrades, so business class both ways! Now just have to decide which island(s)...thinking Oahu and Kauai? Will have about 10 days, I think.

They've been entertaining us at cocktail hour at The Sand Bar and during walks. STILL AWESOME.
