All I can say is HAVE A BLAST!!! Drink a Lava Flow for me. You'll have sooo much fun. Hawaii is such a BEAUTIFUL place. One of the most Beautiful places in the world. I've been to Maui twice. What a blessing for me. Wish I was you!!
I'm jealous. Just have fun!!!

No advice except to have a wonderful trip & please post a quick summary upon your return. I'm interested in Oahu tho' have never yet done more than just pass through HNL on the way to other places.
Happy Landings

Make a point of seeing the sunset each evening. We always took the time to have a cocktail at a waterfront bar and listen to some of the Hawaiian entertainment. One of the best places we found was the bar at the Moana Surfrider, right on the beach under the Banyan Tree. Heavenly. Enjoy the joy....

Check out Waikiki Beach...have high tea (if you like tea and that sort of thing) on the porch of the Moana Surfrider Hotel...have DINNER at the Hano Hano room of the Sheraton Waikiki-ask for a table by the window-it's beautfiful there. Watch people jumping off the pier on Waikiki....down a bit from the Sheraton Moana...Definitely see the Halona Blowhole and SANDY BEACH...Sandy beach was awesome. I sat for hours and took pictures of the crashing waves and the wipeouts....My kids loved the beach to the right of the blowhole...locals called it Cockroach Cove? But it's really called something else. You almost always see turtles there...AND I saw nary a 'roach in Oahu this Aug 2002...and yes, don't let the door hit you on your way out! HAVE A GREAT TIME! I would suggest SURFING LESSONS from Hawaiian Fire Surf School. (HawaiianFire.com) Pricey, but priceless if you've not surfed before.
Atlantis Submarine tour. Worth every penny.
Luau. (Germaine's or the other company they run. Also have a website. I'd suggest the other one that's linked to Germaine's. Germaine's is good, but I think the other one they run offers more.)
