Maybe if muffin wore a poncho, no one will notice the annoying squeaking sound coming from her pants

Quote from InStyle Magazine:
I love wearing leather pants but I am embarrassed by the way they sometimes squeak when I walk. How can I keep them quiet?

Answer:
".. more designers are using a heavy wax to give leather a sleeker look. Unfortunately pants with such a finish, make a noise when you walk.
As you wear them, you will eventually wear it off.
Until then, keep the leather well conditioned..oil it. or spray it with Lexol.

muffin, We both got our issues at the same time?

Well, if muffin must continue to oil her pants, she'd better buckle up or she may be slip-sliding down the isle during any unexpected turbulance!

LOL, just read the same InStyle Q&A article yesterday. Now stupid me, why didn't I think that this would be dear Muffin's next "problem".

The "girl" does have quite a time of it, doesn't "she"?

AHA!!

I have the solution.

Everyone shall bow to me the great GoTravel at my greatness (and I'm always right).

Muffin shall cut off the pleather pants into Daisy Dukes.

Hence, Muffin will wear her new PLANTS.

(get it? Pleather hot pants = plants)

PLANTS!

We should really get Muffin and ThinGorjus together.

And to think I used to answer her questions, because I was afraid her feelings would get hurt at some of the off-hand replies.

Yes, ElenDil, I clicked on with the same anticipation!

Muffin, your posts remind me of the contemporary British novels my daughter likes to read, such as Bridget Jones and Shopoholic. Good luck with whatever it is you're trying to accomplish!

This thread is absolutely hilarious. I really needed the laugh!

Muffin, join the Mile High Club. You'll have to remove your pants while in flight for membership, thus no squeaking noise. (This won't help with the squeaking while walking through the airport, though). Wear your bikini bottoms like they're your underpants, and when you come out of the bathroom you'll be ready to disembark and go straight to the beach.

Oh, Muffin, I needed a laugh today. Thanks for posting...

You didn't say what color your leather pants are. I hope they are a tropical shade that goes good with a tan...perhaps hot pink??

Are they ventilated? I seem to remember some star, was it Cher, wearing air conditioned leather at one time....

Tate the Pup loves squeaky toys. It might be a good idea to let me know when you will be at the airport and which airport, we would not want my large furry dog to go after your squeaky pants with the gusto he usually spends on his bunny.

Oh my am I going to have to rethink this whole outfit?? Oh dear. As you all know the plane riding outfit is most most important you simply cannot be parading around the airport or the WHOLE PLANE ride in an unsuitable and unstylish outfit. Thank god I came home in time to study up and give this matter some proper thought time. Thanks again....smooch.

Upcoming tips coming on traveling, shopping and packing as relating to women on a specific basis.

Really, muffin, Your are too kind, you don't have to..please, don't put yourself out, we will manage on our own, I am sure.
You just go have a good time and we will stumble along figuring out what to wear all by ourselves.

Scarlett,

A refined poodle going after some unsuspecting woman in leather pants in a crowded airport: I just might pay to see that.
