Lava flow from Kiluae

Just saw a video clip of a great lava flow from Kiluae, but it doesn't say if this is the current flow. So how is the lava flowing on the BI?

You can find up-to-date information on all the volcanoes on the Volcanoes National Park website at the www.nps.gov

We only saw red lava in the Pu'u O'o vent area via helicopter last week. Lots of steam in other areas.
23 acres of the BI collapsed into the ocean a couple weeks ago.

I don't like spelling police but just FYI, it's Kilauea.

OSB, I swear, the day after you left there were 5 flows going into the ocean. Was on the t.v. and newspapers but you had to be on a boat to see it.

OSB, I should know to check spellings, especially for Hawaiian words.

Matnikstym: No Spinner Dolphins on the Kayak trip, No Manta Rays on the dive No lava flow on the BI. Then, just missed Julia Roberts and Pierce Brosnan ( not together ) on Kauai - but do I care? Not one twit!! I had a marvelous time!!!

OSB: You are not alone, we didn't see the lava flow either. Meeting Mat was certainly a highlight of the trip.

Mat: Are you coming back to your birthtown this year?

I really DID see the lava, but it was IN Pu'u 'O'o Vent - very cool, you could see it actually flowing - looked to be at noticable speed too!
Thought I saw a glimmer at the ocean, but it's hard to see in the daylight.

One of these trips I'll stop off in CA. and we'll have dinner. Was going to email you soon about some Hong Kong info you said your friend knows Hong Kong?

Mat: E-mail your questions to me, or check out the Asia board, there are some Fodorites and expats that know every inch of HK! A group of Fodorites had a GTG in SF on 5/23, the menu will make you really hungry!
