Late March Spring Break for a few families ?

Hi:

We’ve got 4 families from Virginia looking for a late March Spring Break location. Priorities are a nice beach, the potential for nice water and someplace where the boys can be active - biking, potentially nice restaurants (that’s for us parents).

Cost is not a huge issue and I expect we will rent houses or condos.

Completely open to locations and suggestions.

Thanks!

Are you totally tied to Florida? If the pandemic is pretty much over by March, I'm guessing all Florida beaches will be a mob scene with many people from many states.
Check out the Texas Gulf coast south of Corpus Christi including South Padre Island.

We are tied to Florida for two reasons ... we can drive from Virginia and we need to drive because I am going to be a couple of months finished with chemo and want to avoid a plane. Good point about being completely mobbed. Is it possible to find someplace that is not? What would Seaside be like?

Try Sanibel and Captiva... resorts and rentals... great beaches, nature and water, and beaches not always mobbed near the rentals... shopping and restaurants all along the main road.

Who knows what "spring break" will look like really!! So not funny these days, but Sanibel is such a great place any time.
