Last Minute Trip to Provincetown

Planning last minute trip to Provincetown for later this week. Does anyone have suggestions on where to stay that's not too expensive?

At this point, on the eve of Labor Day, I'd be more concerned about finding someplace to stay. If you can find a vacancy, I'd take it.

The motels on either end are less expensive. I stayed at a shared bath B&B in town (first experience ever with a shared bath inn) because it was hard finding a place in the middle of town that would accept just two nights.

MikeT is right. Surf the web and email everyone that looks like they are in your price range if they have availability. Innkeepers will get back in touch fairly quickly.

You can rent bikes if you want to ride back and forth instead of the walk. Or email innkeepers to see what they have in town. Those are the "not too expensive" options I know about.

Try the Surfside(www.surfsideinn.cc) or Best Western (www.bwprovincetown.com).
Nice basic hotels with lots of rooms, so better chance of finding something, as most PTown hotels and inns are very small. Surfside is on the bay in the east end of town. BW is at opposite end of town, overlooking the moors. Labor Day week is tough, but maybe you'll get lucky. One more idea. Go to www.ptown.org and click link to last minute accommodations. Good luck.

We have stayed at the Inn at Duck Creeke in Wellfleet & find them to be reasonable. You can get a room for 2, with private bath, for $130 including continental breakfast. Good luck finding a room!!!
