The National Parks website (www.nps.gov) will have the info you need. Some campsites require reservations.
I have car camped at Mora campground in Olympic (nice, uncrowded, near the beach) and White River campground in Mt Ranier (very crowded in late August).

I really was not trying to be harsh. I just know how some people feel about all caps on message boards.
Personally I don't care- I used to write all posts in lower case
Good luck with the camping- I think you chose a great time of year. I find some of the best campgrounds are in state parks or state forests- harder to find info on, fewer facilities but fewer people too.
Enjoy and please post a trip report. This board needs more input from people who like to camp.
