Las Vegas Show question

I've seen both "O" and "Mystere" , and now my husband wants to see one of the magic shows. We're staying at the Venetian. Has anyone seen the "Melinda Magic" show? I heard she used to be married to Lance Burton and has a good show in her own right, but I haven't talked to anyone who's seen the show. Thanks for the info.

I've also heard Lance Burton is good. Stay away from Sigfried and Roy. It's not worth the $$$.

The Blue Man Group at the Luxor is a different, great show.

Melinda's show is supposed to be absolutely abominable from what I've heard. Really low level stuff.

I researched a lot of reviews, saw only one mentioning Melinda, and they recommended to stay away, no explanation why.
On the other side saw a lot of praise to Blue Men Show, read about it, but still cannot comprehend what exactly they are doing there. Could anyone provide better details - is it singing, dancing, magic, comedy?

When i first replied to your post i thought of Blue Man Group, but didn't mention it b/c you specifically asked for magic.

The reason you haven't been able to figure out exactly what Blue Man Group (BMG) is about is because it is indescribable. The bottom line is it's a show that will make you feel good by the time you leave, with a lot of music and laughter inbetween. "Performace Art" is the best category it fits into.

Here's their website: http://www.blueman.com/

Blue Man...I think that if you like a lot of percussion you will like them, if not you won't.
