Las Vegas rental for five

I have never been to Vegas. I am going for a conference 4/21 - 26. There are five of us and we would prefer to have a large place with three separate sleeping areas. (some of us snore, couples, etc.) Any ideas on someplace to rent like a condo, house or something close to the strip? I've been told no chance by others that have been. How about hotels that have large suites? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Just so you are aware.... There are only a couple casino hotels that allow 5 in a room (due to fire code). Even in suites). We have 2 adults and 3 kids (13-5) and I found only Flamingo Las Vegas allows five. In most cases, suites are a maximum occupancy of 4 -- so that wouldn't work for us (or you) either. Treasure Island has 2 bedroom suites, so that could be a possibility. Also, most hotels charge for any adults in the room over 2, so for that $25-$30 charge per person....you might as well book 2 or 3 rooms at the cheapy internet rates.

We always stay at the Desert Paradise resort which is on Decatur, about 5 mins drive from the strip and very easy to find. A one bedroom unit is costing us $70 per night in two weeks time (March 2003), they have 2 bedroom units here. We love it...no long walks to the pool and its nice and quiet..great staff

Hi - You could try the Hilton Grand Vacation Club at either the Las Vegas Hilton or the Flamingo. They are time share condos that rent to the public when units are available. Rates seem reasonable. I know they have 2-bedroom units and might have some 3-bedroom units. Flamingo is really a good location if you like to roam the Strip.
www.hilton.com has a link to the Grand Vacation Clubs.

Hawthorn Suites has a location just behind the Tropicana featuring 1 and 2 bedroom units. Residence Inn has 2 or 3 nearby locations and they usually have a few 2 bedroom units with sofa living room.

Try the Jockey Club or Polo Towers, both timeshares that have 2 & 3 bedrooms for rent. Both are on the strip. The JC is next to Bellagio and PT, is closer to MGM.
