Deluxe Hotel in Las Vegas

Planning a 40th birthday visit for my wife next year in October to Las Vegas. We are going with another couple and looking to go first class for a long weekend with a 2 bedroom suite (maybe even a penthouse suite). Interested in seeing a number of shows, a round or two of golf, good pool and casino. Someplace in the action/on the strip. I have narrowed it down to Bellagio, Mirage, Venetian, ? Mandalay Bay.
any suggestions? I lean toward Bellagio.
Thanks.

I do love the Venetian, but the suites at the Wynn look fabulous!!
If I was going with another couple, for privacy, I'd rather get separate suites rather than a 2 bedroom one, unless it's REALLY large...I'd be uncomfortable about basically staying in the same room...

I agree with last poster, get separate suites/accommodations unless you are positive the suite as 2 distinct separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

We stayed 5 days at the Venetian recently - loved it! Suites were fabulous and we were really impressed with the service. Happy travels!
