Try Vegas.com or CheapOvegas.com. Weekends will be pricey but Sun-Thurs you should be able to find all kinds of deals. Also, if you know which hotel(s) you prefer, visit their direct website(s).

We did end up staying at the Bellagio...which was totally amazing and worth every penny! What we did was wait until 48hrs before we wanted the room. We called directly, and I asked for any specials. She gave me some prices, and I asked for a better deal. So it got better. She then reduced the prices, and we ended up with a King room on the 23rd floor, with a view of the strip, the amazing fountain, and the Paris right opposite from us. Then when we got to the desk to check in, I had the gaul to ask for an even better deal. We ended up with 3 nights in this fabulous room for $199 per night. I think we did ok. I seriously doubt we would have enjoyed Vegas as much is any other hotel. We are spoiled forever and we thought every penny was worth it. However...watch out for the food prices. The only time we had breakfast was our last morning and we had it brought to the room so we could just enjoy it. We could put the t.v. on to the channel with the fountain music and we were in heaven.

Sounds lovely! I, for one, *love* room service breakfast!! To me, nothing beats having coffee and getting oriented while still in my robe. Makes my whole day so much better.

Also sounds like you did really well in the value for the money department. It never hurts to ask....the worse that can happen is that they will say no.
