Las Vegas Hotels

Help! Has anyone stayed at the Sahara or Riviera. I can get pretty good rates.I am going to a wedding and only staying 2 nights.If anyone has any suggestions pls let me know.

Check out rates at Bally's, TI, and Aladdin which may have equally good rates and are better situated (in the middle of where you want to be).

If by "pretty good rates" you mean $49 or $59 then it might be worth it. More than that and I'd look around. jimshep is right about some of the far better hotels.

I don't know when you are going to be in Las Vegas but TI, and Mirage are advertising some "pretty good" rates right now. Depending on the day of the week, I've just been offered by email $59 - $109 for TI in Aug, Sept & Oct - these rates are direct from the hotel. I agree the location would be better than Sahara and Riviera.

The Riveria is well worn (some would call it a dump). Sahara is poorly located IMHO, unless of course the wedding is there.

Might add Flamingo to your list of places to look at. Monte Carlo usually is a good deal in addition to those already mentioned.
