Las Vegas Fight Weekend

I'm going to be in Las Vegas from March13th-16th.
I have tickets to the Mosley-Winkey fight at the Mandalay Bay but immediately afterwards I have to be at the Little White Weddding Chapel at the other end of the strip for a friends wedding.
I've never been to a fight before in Vegas. Can someone tell me how crowded it's going to be and how difficult it might be to get a cab after the fight?
Would an hour be enough time to leave the fight, get a cab and make it to the wedding?

We were in LV last year during a fight weekend, it is pretty mobbed. There is awful traffic (worse than usual) and cabs are still at the hotels in lines but there are more people taking them so you might have longer waits.
An hour should be fine.
Weird feeling, I would think, going from a Fight to a Wedding ... big switch in atmosphere~

There's actually a professional boxer with the name Winkey?
LOL!
And how do the fight announcers resist temptation when opponents land a 'low blow'?

We flew into Vegas on a fight night. Cabs were OK at the airport, but it looked hectic on the strip.

We found out the next day that L.V. Blvd was packed solid and it was taking about an hour to go about half the distance you'll need to go. I'd definitely talk to the hotel concierge or someone once you arrive to see if there's a way to avoid the rush.

You are going to have a BALL!!

Ok, you have to rent a limo like now.
Limo rental is cheap in Las Vegas.
The limo will get you to the church on time.

The cab is a high risk.

Since you are going to a wedding I will not say a whole lot about dressing but be prepared folks dress to the nines to attend a fight in Las Vegas.

Wear your best dress! That is if you are a girl or a boy. Jewels, good hair do and all that are in order...be you boy or girl.

Have a great time!

Thanks for the suggestions.

I thought about getting a limo from the fight to the wedding but I'm not sure what time to reserve it and where to pick us up. We are staying at the Monte Carlo.

Yes, his name is Winkey. That's his nickname but he sure doesn't look Winkey.

I am dressing up because of the fight and the wedding.

I just wanted to thank everyone for their input.

I had an absolutely fabulous time. The fight was amazing even though it was a big upset to me.

We ended up taking a taxi from the fight to the wedding and had plenty of time ot spare. The only problem was waiting for the taxis, not that there weren't enough but with all of the limo's picking up people, the taxis had a hard time geting to the taxi stand.

I'm already looking for the next good fight to plan my next trip to vegas.

LOL
