I appreciate all the thoughts! Since I just ate at Olives in Sept I'm going to try someplace new, but I really liked that restaurant and that is the type of atmosphere I'm looking for. What about Emerils Fish House? Is that on the same dollar scale as Aqua or a bit under? Bam!

WEndy,
I would say that Emerils is a "bit under'. The service can be spotty when they are very busy and handling tables of 6-12 people. We were there once when every table had about a dozen people and the waiters were way over worked. The place was so noisy. We had been there before, so we were disappointed. I would not recommend it for your birthday bash, maybe for lunch one day.

Just a quick thanks to everyone for their input. Got back from Vegas last night. Stayed at the Venetian in a suite with 2 queens and a pull out couch- perfect for the 5 of us girls. The bathroom was huge and there was more than enough room for everyone.
Had my birthday dinner at Aqua and as everyone has said it was spectacular! Really the best service and food, also a great wine list!
Will be back in Vegas on business in 2 weeks and already have my reservations for Picasso!
Susan I hope you have a wonderful time in Vegas for your b-day!!!
