Does anyone out there know if Avenue Q tickets are available at the half price ticket booth? Thanks.

When are you going? Avenue Q is closing at the end of May.

I think there's a good chance you will be able to get tix at the 50% off booth as when we saw the show last month on a Saturday night there were plenty of empty seats. I'll be in the fashion show mall tonight so I'll check to see if Ave Q is one of the discounted shows for certain and report back

Hi, yes, Avenue Q is discounted. The $75 tickets and $50 tickets are half off. Hairspray is discounted too. Hope this helps

Thanks SO much for checking that for me; I really appreciate it. I was all set to order tickets online, but now I'll just wait until we arrive!

Definitely, you can use the extra savings for a nice dinner or roll of the dice literally

Where is the 1/2 price booth? It's been a while since I've been to Vegas and I'm going later this week.
thanks!

Ave.Q has been doing terribly and is closing.

1/2 Price tickets can be purchased for many shows (but not the top ones) at the booth at Fashion Show Mall. There is another up by the Coke bottle near MGM. Lines form early (personally I do not think it is a good use of my time while in 'Vegas) but if you do not mind getting in line 2 hrs before the booth opens you can get tickets to some shows. Not all shows will be offered as the top shows/headliners are not discounted. I am not saying you always need to be in line hrs. before they open but I did talk to a man who worked at the Fashion Show Mall and he said "they start lining up way before we open every day".

Hi Lawgrad05, go to www.tix4tonight which gives locations and a $2 off per person coupon. The show list is posted at 11:30 and tickets go on sale at noon. Got in line at about 11:40 am and was out by 12:15-12:20. We waited about 40 mins yesterday for Mama Mia tickets. No Le Reve, or other cirque shows but mostly everything else including Hairspray, Ave Q and such.

I'm sorry to hear that Avenue Q didn;t work out.

I didn;t see the show, but when I saw Le Reve, they shared a giftshop and the Avenue Q items looked much more cool.

I wasn't nearly as wowwed by Ave Q as I thought I would be from the good buzz. Worth going if you can get 50% off. To me Le Reve was better.

How much is the service charge on half price tickets? Is that per ticket or per order?

The service charge is per ticket, I think $4 per person? But I might be wrong. Again, go to the tix4tonight website and download a coupon, one coupon is good for all tickets.
