Lancaster Pa, Christmas show??

Hey everyone,

Thinking of taking mamalani to Lancaster County for a big birthday around new years. Other fam is in PA so it seemed a possible location.

Any thoughts on the Christmas show or the area this time of year? Anything to do other than the show? I know nothing about this area at all. I am negotiating with sibling who does not want the cost of flying somewhere.

Any yeahs or neahs would be appreciated. Just want a fun weekend to celebrate 70.

Have you checked out the Sights and Sounds Theatre show? It is really spectacular. Also...visiting the Amish country is lovely.

Actually that is the one we are considering. Do you know first hand what the area will be like over New Years or just prior to. What to do see? Will Amish country be an option? Thanks so much for any thoughts.

Mother, daughter and I went for an overnight on 12/28 a couple of years ago. Some of the Amish restaurants closed down at that time for the season. Everything else was up and running. The show was spectacular.
