Melissa, by creating new threads every time you make minor changes to your itinerary, or to ask about specific hotels etc., you spread thing out so that people can't see what others have already told you. Consolidate your questions onto ONE thread and people will be more responsive. You can add new questions again and again - that's the typical way. Otherwise you're asking others to do the legwork for you.

I would drive up to Yosemite via the central valley rather than via Bishop. If you go via Bishop, you will be going over the Tioga pass and back down to the Yosemite Valley floor. It is more logical to go from Yosemite over the Tioga Pass and then north ot Lake Tahoe. If you do not want to do the LA-Yosemite drive in one day, stop in Sequoia NP. You could then spend only two nights in Yosemite, as ytou could visit the Wawona Grove (or skip it) and Glacier Point on your way in. I would spend three nights in Yosemite, giving you one day for the valley floor and one day for Glacier Point and the Wawona area. Crescent City is not worth two nights. I think that the best redwoods are south of Eureka.
