La Quinta, Ca

Looking for recommendations for lodging in La Quinta. Looking for mid price range, do not need a big fancy resort and we are not golfers. A nice 1 bedroom with a pool of course and close to the central part of town. Any suggestions?

Rates will vary by the season. How do you define mid-price range and when are you going? Also, how close is "close to the central part of town"? Walking distance? Five miles?

As Jean says -- WHAT do you consider 'mid priced'. 'Mid priced' in La Quinta could be anything -- it all depends on your dates.

FYI, there are several properties in the area that I would call mid-priced. Extended Stay Suites, Embassy Suites, Best Western... I would search at booking.com in your preferred rate range, location, amenities, etc. If you're going April/May, you'd better nail down something pretty soon, even if you keep looking.

Sometimes this place has promotions. It’s worth checking.

Also, Palm Desert is next door and will also have some nice resort hotels.
