We are planning a honeymoon stay at the La Quinta Resort in mid-August for a week.

Does anyone have recent feedback about this resort?
Any advice for first-timers?
Any ideas?

I've been on the property, but not stayed there. It's not as flashy as most resorts in the area, but still has a sort of old money luxury feel.

You do know that it's gonna be HOT(?)

spring for the over priced aerial tram ride. it's a blast.

I love La Quinta and have stayed there a few times. The resort has a series of courtyards with a pool for each one. The bigger casitas have fireplaces and some have kitchens. Some have private patios with hot tubs. Really nice--my favorite place to stay in Palm Springs.

The Mexican restaurant on the property is good and there is a lovely outdoor area for drinks.
