LA food drink fun things to do
I posted this before and I don't know happened to it.
My cousin and I are in our mid twenties and we will be traveling to LA.
Any restaurant and bar information you can give would be most helpful.
Is the Getty a must?
Best Brunch?
Any suggestions would be great!
Thanks!!!!

Where are you staying? LA is a huge city and restaurant/bar recommendations will differ depending on what area you are staying in. On the Westside, two places I love for brunch are the Rose Cafe at Main and Rose in Venice (you eat outside on the patio - nice location) and Geoffry's in Malibu (also outside up on a cliff overlooking the ocean).

Need to be more specific on where you'll be staying (L.A. is HUGE!). As for The Getty Center, if you enjoy museums and architecture, yes (I phrase it this way simply because I don't know what you're in to). Personally, I thought it was fantastic--worth seeing for the architecture and views as much as the art.

Heather, I think it was your post I answered as did several others. How far down did you scroll to search for it? If no one adds to a post it can drop about 150 in a day, so it may be pretty far down, but I imagine it's still here.
If I can't find it, I will answer again.

Hi-
You should definitely head down to the Pier in Hermosa Beach. There are a bunch of bars and a fun twenty-something beach crowd. There are also some great vintage clothing stores there. For restaurants try Manhattan Beach (next to Hermosa) there's some great ones right near the beach.
Hope this helps!

Hi Heather,
I replied to your old post too. If you do a search for it, it might come up?
For brunch, I like Hugo's. There's one on Santa Monica in West Hollywood and another in Sherman Oaks. Excellent juices, teas, and great egg scrambles! Has its share of celebs too. But you need to go early or be prepared to wait.
For vintage clothes, you might also want to check out Melrose Ave--tons of stores line the street, many offering vintage collections. Check out Aardvark's.
