We actually took one last January over superbowl Sunday. Surprisingly, the weather took a turn upwards, so it was quite nice. Warm enough, in fact, to lie outside in the sun, although the pool (they pump seawater into it and don't heat it) was used ONLY by really hardy kids (I SO wanted to go down that slide!). The spa on deck, though, was just fine.
The day in Ensenada was perfect.

Many years ago, was on a Royal Caribbean one and must say it was very enjoyable. The cruise. Ensenada itself was so-so. Hoards of cruise tourists trying to find that "cheap" little something.
Carnival caters to a younger crowd. Do they still have a contest counting how many hairs on a man's chest? Lo! So it just depends on your age - your mental age!
Have a good time! Choose a bigger ship!
