Knotts, CA Adventure or Soak City

Have never traveled to So Cal. Only have time for one theme park. Love rides! Which would you choose.

Well, if you love rides, there really is only one choice - Knott's. CA Adventures has, really, only four rides that would be considered "interesting" by teens or adults. And of those, California Condor usually has a line that is a minimum of 1 1/2 hours long. Even fast pass has a bit of a wait. The others are okay, but not all that.

Knott's has a bigger variety of rides, and more "thrill-seeker" rides. (I'm assuming that is what you are into?) Also, Soak City is just across the street from Knott's, so it is possible that you could do both, though Knott's is fairly big.

If it's rides you're looking for, or more specifically roller coasters, Six Flags, about an hour north of LA is the place. There's also a decent water park on the property and they sell a combo ticket so you can split the day between the two parks.

We did Knotts Berry Farm this summer. It was great. The new roller coaster there is fantastic. Not to long of lines like other places. Alot of food choices and great little shops. My husband and boys age 9 & 13 had a blast. We also went to the Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum on the same street as Knotts. It opens one hour before Knotts so you could do both. Have Fun!
