Kissimmee to St. Peterburg

Thinking about driving from Kissimmee to St. Pete's to see a Red Sox game at Tropicana Field. How long is the drive during rush hour? I will be attending a convention that won't get over until 530pmish and the game starts at 710pm. Is this workable if I am willing to miss an inning or two?

Meant to say that Google maps puts the drive at 1 hr 42 min. But are these estimates always on the conservative side?

Go for it. I'm a lifelong Red Sox fan living in the Tampa area. Been to the Trop many times and going to see the Red Sox play there is worth the drive. I'm going to figure 1hr and 45 min because of the rush hour traffic. Of course if there are breakdowns or accidents, which are every day occurences down here, it could take longer. Good luck!

Thanks Hubster. As a life long member of Red Sox nation, its hard to pass up any chance to see a game.

Great place to see a game. Red Sox Nation is alive and well in the Tampa Bay area. The D Rays organization should thank the Red Sox and Yankee Fans for their existence.

True! The Rays had their fist sellout in who-knows-how-long this past Saturday--guess what, the Yankees were in town!
