Anyone live in Brandon/Riverview and Commute to Tampa/St. Pete

I have a quick question for anyone who lives in Brandon/Riverview and commutes to Tampa or St. Pete. We are looking at a a home in Riverview. But my husband works in north St. Pete. (right over the HF). Anyone know the time/cost on the crosstown?
He makes about a 1 hour commute now....do you think it would be better (he would leave at 6:30 am and leave from work at 4:30 pm)

Traffic here has become really bad on the main roads (I-75 & I-4) because of construction and so he should opt to ante-up on the Crosstown toll road. A best-case-scenario would be that he would leave Riverview, going with the Riverview-to-Tampa traffic from 6:30-6:50. Then once he gets to Tampa he would be driving in the opposite direction of the flow of traffic from Tampa-to-St.Pete from 6:50 to 7:10. He would need to get off the Crosstown somewhere and get onto I-75 which would take another ten minutes. As he's leaving so early I think this would be about what it would take. Once the I-4/I-75 downtown connection is finished he could use that, connecting via I-75 to I-4 and maybe save that extra ten minutes to connect. But for now I'd do my best to steer clear of I-4/I-75.
