Kings Canyon/Sequoia National Park during Thanksgiving

We are planning to travel to Kings Canyon/Sequoia during this thanksgiving (starting tomorrow). Has anybody done this around this time of the year? Anything we shouldn't miss or things we should avoid?

Thanks,
S

I'm not sure you can get into Kings Canyon. I think the road is closed.

Otherwise, the weather looks good for the next two days. Snow may come in on Saturday though. Carry chains and drive safely. Have a great trip!

Thanks for your response, Otis. Are there any hikes in the area that you would recommend?

Once there's snow, hiking would have to be done with snowshoes.
