GRAND CANYON SOUTH RIM AT THANKSGIVING

I plan on being at the Grand Canyon on Thanksgiving day and a few days after. Seeing how I am from Florida, I am dying to see some snow. What do you think the snow factor will be?

I'm planning on moving to Phoenix in December so have been checking the weather there on a frequent basis.

Granted, the GC area will likely be colder than the desert but since the weather's been in the mid 70's, even though it's colder in GC, still doubt there's much likelihood for snow.

Just my 0.02

Probably no snow, but count on the temperature ranging between 55F and 15F and very windy. So, yes, it is much colder than phoenix. Snow around this time isn't unheard of, but not likely this year.

Your best bet if you just want to see snow (not necessarily at GC) is to head to Humphreys Peak outside Flagstaff. It's elevation is over 12,000 feet, and there's a ski hill there (Arizona Snowbowl), so you could call them ahead of time and see if they have any snow up there.

Was visiting Gatlinburg, TN and Cherokee and saw some Native American dancing.

Funny thing was during a dance break, one of the Indian MCs mentioned snow and how with Christmas nearing, he wanted to sing his favorite X-mas song.
"I'm dreaming of a white woman, ..."

You seem like a christian (777) so have faith and pray, friend.
