September, October, and November up to Thanksgiving except for Fantesy Fest and lobster season in October in Key West.

It is hurricane season, peak season hasn't started yet (Christmas through April), and summer season has yet to start.

I'd consider all of the summer months to be low season. Rates are cheaper then for 2 good reasons: heat and humidity.

*High* season is listed as running from 12/15 through Easter but there are some exceptions to low season, when rates go back up...

"Rates vary throughout the year. They are the higher between Christmas and Easter and for special events and three-day holidays. Highest rates apply during special annual events like Fantasy Fest and the lobster mini-season. There are good deals in the fall and early December is really a choice time – no lines, moderate temperatures, and low humidity. When you are calculating your cost, don’t forget to figure on the local, state and tourist taxes levied on all accommodations."

I've seen several B&B's even list a mid-season but this seems to vary by place. And the Pier House doesn't seem to have a season. They charge the same rates no matter when I've booked.

Susan, summer is no longer considered off season due to the fact that so many families travel during that time. It is now considered 'summer' season.

You can find deals the first two weeks in December.

Thanks for your replies, Dec. for me is not an option as we will be bringing our Harleys and I like to ride when it's fairly warm out.Warm meaning, I don't have to wear a jacket. Seems like everytime I look for a place in March or April 2008, they are booked...
