Need suggestions on must do's and must eats in Key West with family of 3 active boys. Also suggestions on who to go snorkeling with? Trip is scheduled for mid feb. Also, the boys want to go deep sea fishing? Suggestions on who with?

I highly recommend Floridays for snorkeling. It docks at the Hyatt. I think you and your boys would enjoy eating at Blue Heaven (there may be a wait) and the Half Shell Raw Bar, which is a paper plate/plastic fork kind of place right on the water with fabulous fresh fish. There's a fishing charter docks at the Galleon called Mr Z's that's apparently very good though we've never used them. You definitely need to attend the sunset activities at Mallory Square, too. There are all sorts of street entertainers and it's altogether a festive atmosphere.

maykb,
the Gardens Hotel is my new favorite place to stay. it's about a block and a half off Duval. it's location makes walking easy - it's centrally located to everything. as the name suggests, it has some wonderful, lush gardens. it has a nice pool (and hot tub), with a small bar next to it. they do a continental breakfast in the morning, which looked good (but we passed on it.) the rooms are all very nice and airy, with lots of light. nice bathrooms. the two times we were there, the crowd was very laidback -- no allnight partying. have fun.

I second (or is it third or fourth) Blue Heaven and Pepe's. In the week my husband and I stayed there, we ate at Pepe's 4 times. Beer and key lime pie DO go together.
