Big Pink is a great restaurant for kids - but it can be crowded. The portions - even kids are huge - so sharing is a good option. Parking around there can also be challenging.

FYI Patrick - The Rusty Pelican is still the Rusty Pelican (maybe the other poster got confused because on the road where you turn in for the RP, there is a place called "Madfish House")

And to report, ate at RP with my in-laws who are fairly picky and it was pretty good (7.5 out of 10 I'd say). I hear that it is under new ownership FYI.

I always enjoy the lunch buffet at the Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne. When I was there in December, it was crawling with families and kids. They have a nice outside area where you can dine and enjoy views of the pools and the ocean.
