Kauai: ideal length of time?
Hi all,
We're living on Oahu for two months this summer and want to explore the other islands. Is 6 nights/7 days an adequate amount of time for Kauai, or should we try and add a couple days? I know, more is always better, but how much time to you need to do the main stuff: Na Pali coast (shorter hike + boat trip), the canyon, river kayaking, visiting a few beaches, etc...
Thanks for any advise...
P.S. WE ARE LOVING OAHU!

We have been to Kauai twice, the first time for 4 nights, and last year we took our kids for 7 nights. I could have stayed there two weeks easily, but we enjoy hiking, snorkeling, going to different beaches, sightseeing, and even having lie-around-the-pool-and-beach days, and Kauai has lots of things to do like this.
If you're interested in nightlife, Kauai is definitely not the place, but it's our favorite Hawaiian island so far (out of Oahu, Maui, Kauai). In 4 months we'll be going to the Big Island for the first time, so then we'll see which island is our favorite.
