Anybody seen Kal or his trip report? It's been over 2 weeks -- is Kal back? Maybe he's still going thru detox? Here's hoping he had a great time.

Kal, didn't you come back home from Kauai? Maybe he got hurt carrying Mrs. Kal's suitcase-o-shoes?

I was shocked when I saw the title of this post. I was sure Kal would be gone for at least another week. Glad to see it's really not his trip report and that he's still enoying the beauty of Kauai. The frost has been pretty heavy the past two nights and the fog's getting thicker every day that it doesn't rain (which hasn't been many). He's gonna look outa place with any tan when he gets back!!!!

Per his "out of office auto reply" he's still frying on the beaches.

He text-messaged me 1 or 2 days ago claiming it was beer:30 and had just golfed so I assume he's still here in Hawaii!

Well, guys..how about we write his trip report for him??

4:22 p.m. Hawaii time: Just got a message from Kal. he says if people from fodors are looking for him, they can reach him at his address.......DA SAND BAR.

So we can all assume that dear Kal is having a wonderful time!

Finally found an i'net place where you don't need yer own laptop, Computer Web (Nice place-cool kids), in the back of the Safeway Shopping Ctr. we're waiting for La Playita to open for lunch then a 1:37 tee time.

We saw kikahead but since she probably saw us first we didn't talk.

Trying to track down AuntieM but that would require leaving our barstools. She is on a great radio station tho.

Anywayyy....This place is TERRIBLE!!!
Haven't seen the sun since we left California! And just try and find a drink past 6:00 pm on this island!

And talk about EXPENSIVE!!! I don't know why anyone would even want to come here instead of Maui. ;-)

I think we'll have to throw Kal a Budman-a-thon. I just got my "liberty card" and will be heading West for barrel tasting in the Sonoma/Healdsburg area first weekend in March. Bring a small suitcase full of "Budbrew." >- >-
