I don't have any first hand information, we have just passed it on our way to Cedar Point. However, did you see the $100 off offered by Travelzoo? http://www.travelzoo.com/Top20.asp?md=173253351

Thanks! I just booked the resort and I got a pretty good rate. I couldn't use the $100 off offered by Travelzoo because I wasn't going during the dates listed.
I did get a discount though. I think $150.00 the first night & $199.00 the 2nd night (Thurs & Fri). That wasn't too bad considering all the other indoor waterparks were more expensive and this one looked pretty good.
I'll write a review after I visit.
Thanks again for your help!

We stayed at the Kalahari for 2 nights last month. We loved the resort---one of the nicest places we have ever stayed at--rooms are lovely and very clean--nice balcony. If you have a Krogers card you will get a room upgrade. The waterpark is the nicest at Sandusky--your kids will have a blast. My husband and I loved the lazy river--very relaxing. The tree top playhouse is great--the kids loved it and they are 10-11-12. Outdoor pool area is very nice with a large jacuzzi--are going back next summer for 3 days. First time we are going to the same place 2x. Have a great time.
